10 years in development and it's just more Bioshock, which is fine. Hopefully this time the gameplay systems don't get nerfed down to CoD standards, as which happened with Infinite.
Prior Take 2 financial reports had the release pegged for March 2025.

So where's our narrative legos, then? This reminds me of Prey alongside those Bioshock/Westworld vibes.
The code in that trailer has actual comments, which is cute. Looks like some fucking around with the ship's AI. But then also 'forbidden filters', and it ends with a patch being applied to... Judas's AI code. So you're possibly playing an android, or a cyborg? Neat.

So this is Ken Levine Game (TM) version 4? It looks a lot like Ken Levine Game (TM) versions 2 and 3.

Which character is assuming the role of Shodan this time around.

From how it's looking so far, they might recycle "Comstock is a version of Booker" twist. The current version of Judas probably doesn't have the memories/personality of the one of who "broke" the ship.

There's a part in the 2nd trailer where the character is being respawned from a vita chamber.
I hope that they bring back the weapon wheel + no arsenal limits + different ammo types. Infinite copying the weapon limit from Halo/CoD was utter shit, discouraging investing in upgrades outside of a core 3 or 4 guns.

When Warren Spector got the funding to make his "dream project," he made Epic Mickey. So go easy on Levine.

I haven't played the 2nd one yet (I have it for Wii) but the first Epic Mickey was fucking great. You could tell it was made by people who actually like pre-war animation.

That's... the first time I've heard someone praise that game.

I was inspired to joke about Ken Levine by Sulphur's post above mine. Ken always seems to have some pie-in-the-sky concept to sell to publishers and the press, like narrative Legos or AI ecology. And then his games get into development trouble, and he falls back on old ideas to get a game out.

Preview vid by Doritos Pope. Cautiously optimistic.
