It's really good to see you're hanging around here, so I've some request. Since you're the walking encyclopedia Thief universe, you might help us a bit with your insight, if you please.:p
Most of the time, we're fighting with technical problems of this engine around here and waste enormous time to make things work like they're in Thief1&2. However, there are excellent missions like Overlook mansion or cradle, despite all the technical problems of this engine.
So, Jtr7, please review our fms for tds or give us some ideas about what works/what not...It would be really exciting to hear your in-depth opinions about either already released fms or what can be achieved for future fms, despite this all "how can we make tds fms more like thief1&2 fms"...
So simply, what makes a good tds fm? I'm sure some of us would also enjoy engaging in this conversation. Let me be the initial triggerscript link.:p

AFAIK he has technical issues getting TDS to run properly.
My humble little answer, although the question was not asked in my direction: Take care of the technical sides; movement tweaks from the MP, simpler ragdoll movements (see ini tweaks), increased senses of AIs and that kind of stuff. The rest is pure gameplay theory. Have you had a look at the T2X commentaries? There's a couple of neat ideas to be found there as well.

Well, Flux...you honour me. Wow!
Alas, Cúthalion is correct. I had been experiencing strange looping sound issues with TDS, and this week, things got much worse. I have no sound at ALL for ANY of the Thief games. I have sound in my other applications, though. I'm afraid I'll have to uninstall and reinstall everything.:(
I can view all the resource files, but not play the games, and DromEd is crashing. Something vital has been corrupted.
I'm still working on CoSaS-related materials right now--mostly text, like the Lexicon, but I have to refer to the movie and image files for some things, but I cannot load up the FMs to see where things are placed.
At this time, I can easily answer any questions or only look at files, but not go in-game.:erg:

Speaking of engine and issues, I have made a horribly over sized hammerite church, I'm scaling it down now. It was well over 6144 UU in length, 3072 UU wide, not to mention 5120 UU tall, it was making me go nuts to populate the damn thing so I'm in the tedious process of scaling it down, not to mention the alley with the flaming statues, need to be scaled down, help me, Hitler's architect got into my brain!!!

F**k!!
You are one of the creators of the CoSaS?? OMG :o
One of the greatest Thief 2 works. I really enjoyed a lot of that set of FM!! EXCELLENT design!
Other great titles: The Rebellion Of The Builder (as far as my preferred), Dracula FM set, Ruines Of Originia (:wot:), Keeper Of The Prophecies, Calendra's Legacy (far gone a classic).
Who knows if the CoSaS designer could do some works for me :p

And then on what you speak about?

Something similar to this:
(
http://www.thief-thecircle.com/guides/lexicon/) http://www.thief-thecircle.com/guides/lexicon/
...but it is about the CoSaS FMs--
Gathering at the Inn and
Mission X.
I was also a beta-tester for
Mission X, and while researching for the CoSaS Lexicon, I was one of the people proof-reading the game texts. Not much else, I'm afraid.:) Since the patch is being made, and the Lexicon is being made, I still look at all the texts and tell Digital Nightfall if I find a typo.
No big deal.

Uh, nice!!
Seeing at that page:
"...Ogres: Legendary nightmare beings of the Trickster, vaguely resembling stupid two-headed giant humanoids."
But where the hack where it?? :wot:
I never heard of these ... two-headed ogres before!!
Other Gold' creature?? If yes, I have to buy it soon!
