So this Josh Brolin guy was on Conan's show, and just mentioned (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonah_Hex_(film)) this movie in passing. There's an (
http://jonah-hex.warnerbros.com/) official page, as well as one at (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1075747/) IMDB. Currently in post-production.
The description of the movie sounds like a mishmash of story ideas from the comics. John Malkovich is the bad guy. The director's previous work consists entirely of CGI animation.
My initial impression is that it's gonna suck. Then again, that's usually my first impression for any unreleased movie...

Oh hey, Michael Fassbender. He was awesome in that nail biting intense scene from Inglourous Basterds in the bar, where the German officer is trying to place his odd accent.
P.S. Jesus, that other scene with the Michael Myers cameo was awful though. Goddammit Tarantino, always over-indulging and ruining your recent films.
On topic, I watched the Comicon panel for this film a few months back. Apparently the budget was only $30ish million USD. Apparently they've gone for a more grounded in reality, Spaghetti-esque approach, rather than a supernatural one that some incarnations of the comic supposedly had.

That'll be a neat trick, considering that the description involves a zombie army.

Haha, oh wow. They obviously lied on purpose at Comicon then. Maybe throwing up a smoke screen screen to misdirect the likes of AICN.
