That's not impressive. The Top Gear guys have already crossed the English Channel in a pick-up truck and they didn't use the chunnel.

I think it's classic. Not quite the same thrill as the pioneering days, but nice that people can still manage to dig out some firsts from the woodwork.

I had no idea you could buy a jet engine for less than $5,000, or build your own helicopter for less than $6K for that matter.
