Regarding Ultima Underworld 2, where is Jerry the Rat? This little fellow could be found in Castle British in both Ultima 6 and 7... I wouldn't ask, but I extracted the string files of UW2 (a big thanks to jim the hairy) and found the dialouge file between Jerry and the Avatar. Here's a little bit of it:

OW! I'm Jerry the Rat, now cut it out!!!|Yeah, Relk's dead, boo hoo.|I'm Jerry the Rat. What the fuck do you want?|Uh, never mind.|Please Spew Wildly.|Charming feller, aren't ye?
Nice, eh..?
So, is Jerry in the game? Or was he cutted out?

Jerry must have been a joke that the team cut (wisely, imo) out of the game. Or perhaps, he's an Easter egg that's extremely hard to activate. The Ultima games had a character named Sherry the Mouse who could sometimes join your party. Jerry the Rat is a parody of her.

Too funny. I never heard this one.

Well since we're here, does anybody know how you get a "Lotus Turbo Esprit" or the "Serpent statue", and what do you do with them ? I got the serpent statue from the goblins in the sewers once, it was near the end of the game, but before Mors Gotha. But I was never able to get it again. So.... ?

You have to talk a little bit with the nameless goblin. The conversation should go into the direction that the goblin teaches you tracking. After that, talk to him again - he will tell you a sad story 'bout a man who said a well-known word... and then he will give you the statue.
The serpent statue is only important if you want to play Ultima 7: Serpent Isle. ;)
-Chiller The serpent statue issue has already been commented on. Back in 1993 I heard of people who saw a Lotus Turbo Esprit in Andunous, but usually when they were encountering other bugs. I suspect that it was some form of game corruption, similar to the inventory bug which plagued early releases of UW1.
Looking at the map data, there is certainly no Lotus Turbo Esprit lying around, but that doesn't mean that one couldn't be created by a conversation script.

I think I remember that goblin. I only bothered with learning Tracking skill once. I can't remember any unusual items in the game, though. I must have only played the patched version.

I don't think Jerry is a parody of Sherry. For one, you should remember that the main characters in the game all have special meaning to the game designer. Iolo, Dupre, Lord British, Sherry the Mouse, the whole lot are somewhat along the lines of "Character appearences" in honour of friends and associates of LB.
I believe Jerry the Rat is supposed to be a character appearance in honour of a Jerry who acts somewhat like the rat in the game :p

You also have to remember that a different design team produced the Underworlds. It's extremely likely that one of the programmers tossed in Jerry the Rat as something of an in-joke, and that Origin nixed it, causing it to be removed from the game, but not the code.
