I heard somewhere that the darkest-skinned J.C. model gets a stealth bonus. No idea where I heard that, and certainly no idea where to find hard stats on it.

I guess you could pick one model, go into Liberty Island, get shot once with a pistol. Check how much damage you took with your inventory stuff, then pick another and check again. I doubt this is for real though.

I can't see that being reliable - it would depend where you get hit, on the enemy's weapon skill etc. I agree it sounds like a complete fabrication but this game is still causing surprises after 8 years so...

Enemy weapon skill? I really doubt that. As for where you get hit you just make sure it's the same bodypart, after all they each have their own HP.

JCD #2 - Dark skin, dark hair - Pistol damage 66, Knife damage 20
JCD #3 - Medium skin, dark hair - Pistol damage 66, Knife damage 20
JCD #4 - Pale skin, ginger hair - Pistol damage 66, Knife damage 20
JCD #5 - Pale skin, white hair - Pistol damage 66, Knife damage 20
Also worth noting is that the game uses JCD #1 model for every selection and only Paul is affected by the changes.

The J.C. model you see in conversations and in mirrors is definitely different depending on which you chose at the start of the game.

I heard that black JC can steal more stuff, and therefore has more inventory space.
The downside is that he can't swim. :p
