The "bug" w/ati cards has nothing to do w/AA. It is the way they render the "shimmery" effect seen around oblivion gates and when you are using chameleon/invisiblity effects. I'll have to dig around for the .ini tweak to kill them.

Why, then, does my laptop not suffer from framerate problems near an Oblivion gate? It has an ATI X300 card.

Who knows. Maybe it's because it's from a newer generation of cards? It was talked about in the official forums if you wanna dig it up.

I think the X(digits) cards have the specs to be able to do this well, where as the Raedon (digits) are too old to be able to do that.
Thanks Fig455, that will help me tonnes!

We have the same card, so if I hear anything else helpful, I'll pass it along.

Only one guy died in the battle outside Bruma.
I was so fucking pissed that he died.

Lucky bugger.;)

Yep. Went to the battle site, and there's his body. Amazing how the frost in the Colovian Highlands keeps his body preserved, even after about 70 days :cheeky:

For me it was quite an emotional moment, seeing as the framerate was way down it looked like a slow-mo in movies. Bang, the daedroth hit him, and slowly, he tumbles into the air and crumples in a heap. With good timing for the low framerate, I heard Baurus shout (like the normal attack shout, but the timing made it seem like he was screaming at Jauffre's death) Then the daedroth sweeps out in it's attack, killing both Baurus and Burd. Well, it was funny that it was so like a movie!
