No it's worse, Leona Lewis sings the theme tune over the end credits.
Even though she's a god awful shrieking banshee
Have you heard the song or are you making a judgment based on your preconceptions?
Also, whilst I understand not liking Leona's music (I don't really), I hardly think you can call her a shrieking banshee if you can, you know, actually hear. She has a very good voice, I just don't like tracks she applies it to.
but yeah i knows its cool to dis anyone "mainstream"
I very much enjoyed the bassy minimal track over the trailer. It was a little bit dark, a little bit exciting and I hope they keep it that way IN the film.

I've seen the fucking film already and it's played during the end credits.
"You have Tall Poppy Syndrome and just hate it because it's popular!" Oh fuck off. I said it was a stupid non-argument in the Twilight thread and it's still the same case now. I dislike it because it's a poor song, shocking revelation I know.

All the theatres I could see this at are 2D (yay for rural areas.) Is there a point in seeing this film in that format?

I've heard it, I don't like it. But I don't think she's a "banshee" and btw I was just ASKING so you fuck off, just fuck right off. Asshole.

Yes, the composition and cinematography is fantastic regardless of the viewing dimensions.

A Leona Lewis soundtrack? Are you serious? I can't believe I got excited about this film. I can live without the spectacle of a thousand blue milli vanilli's flying fucking dragons around to Leona Lewis, ta very much. I'm sure this new 3D CG is really cool, but I think I'll wait till someone makes a film with it that doesn't sound retarded and doesn't star rent-a-log Sam Worthington. Besides, having bought COD4: the revenge I've already spent my half-yearly allowance on overblown tripe.

It could be like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Great sweeping flick, quality performances, wonderful evocative music, yes I will conveniently ignore its utterly horrific Titanic-bait theme tune over the end credits that just completely repositions the film.
(I only know who Leona Lewis is because You Tube keeps spitting her out when I was looking up Duffy clips. And no, oh well meaning marketing machine, I'm looking her up precisely because I don't want to hear any more anonymous Mariah wannabes that Idols the world over scare up by the thousands)

Vivian relax, the song only plays during the end credits.
Vivian on 19/12/2009 at 17:54
It's still made the whole thing lame as hell. You imagine terminator with a leona lewis song over the credits.
EvaUnit02 on 19/12/2009 at 18:01
But Terminator isn't Pocahantas in space.
