It's first come first served so go now now now.
I've never seen one of the new 3d films and this is, err, in full 3D or something isn't it? Should be interesting at least.

p.s. I'm sorry, okay.

It's a lot better than the archaic blue-and-red glasses shit of yesteryear, that gives you a headache. With the new process there's still noticeable screen lag.
Ironically due to how expensive the technology is, it's not feasible to reproduce the same 3D for the eventual DVD/BD releases. So they just resort to bastardised versions in the blue-and-red old shit, in addition to a 2D version of the film. This works better with 3D BDs than the DVDs.
The only modern 3D film that I've seen was Henry Selick's marvellous Coraline. The use of 3D was atmospheric and rather subtle, it didn't consist of many things stabbing you in the eye like say with Friday the 13th Pt. 3.

Blast, London is sold out.
:(
Make sure you take notes and we want, nay demand a play-by-play account of what happens.
SubJeff on 18/8/2009 at 11:40
I told you to get in fast! :p
London was always going to be sold out in minutes anyway.
I'll be paying very close attention and of course will report back to TTLG on what I thought. I'm hoping this 3D business is as amazing as the hype says. My report may be spoilerific, but natch I'll try to keep spoilers out.
Anyone else got tickets? Anyone else going to the one in Brum?

Am I supposed to know John Cameron or Avatar?

You're supposed to be at least able to read.
