We should of stayed with James Bond.
No I honestly don't think it's wrong to steal music or movies, I don't believe too much in IPs, they're just there to extract more money out of everyone with artificial monopolies.
I'm also a student and I hate it when vendors try to screw us over, dammit we even have negative networth! Maybe when I'll be older I'll pay to support true artists, but right now for mainstream crap I definitively won't.
And really, I bet there's a lot of students in the same position. They either pay $1 on iTunes or download for free, funny how the movie industry is up in arms now that Apple wants to also sell movies. The big underground community grew because a lot of people felt priced out. It's identical to when Sony shut down japanese video game exporters, was that exporting business wrong? No Sony just wanted more money.
But posters have talked about a lot of different reasons why they sometimes download things, we don't need to have one more conversation about that.

Can anyone here who has seen the new one
and (
http://imdb.com/title/tt0061452/) the original please compare them?
I have only seen the old one, but not the new.
There's no comparison with that version and the new one, but between (
http://imdb.com/title/tt0310853/) the actual original and this one there are definately parallels but there are also many differences. The basic story is the same, but there is also an extension to the story in the new version.
I spent $7.50 CDN and it's definately worth the ticket price.

Aerothorn - make some friends at the local theater ;)
Best Bond movie in a long time, and about tied with Goldeneye.

I have heard that with this movie they were trying to make Bond less sexist and have less casual sex encounters.
I'm usually all for womens rights and positive representation and modelling but this is James Bond we are talking about! His sexcapades and cavalier attitude towards women are a central part of his character.
How far can they really take this before we are watching 007 wash the dishes and talk about his feelings?

Pretty good Jimmy Bund, he does a better job than Brosnan, who as someone told me a few days ago now looks like someone's dad doing a Bond impression at a party. Daniel Craig was a lot grittier, and a total hard bastard, especially when he was
getting the crap beaten out of his plums by LeChiffre
Not nearly enough screen time for the Aston though,
a quick jaunt down a country road and then he flips it :( Eva Green or the DBS, nasty...
I also got a bit lost in the plot, though I'm crap at following movie storylines anyway and any Bond without a mega volcanic lair of death or giant space laser or something is probably lost on me.
Pretty good overall though!

I'd say that they in fact set that up to be part of his character.

Didn't the Bond movies went too far from the concept of original Bond in the first place?
So this should be a parody on serious Bond movies which are in fact parodies on Bond themselves.
Matthew on 20/11/2006 at 10:36
This one is nowhere near being a parody.
Rogue Keeper on 20/11/2006 at 10:53
Could be, but you know it won't object you LOLoing in the cinema if you feel like it.
