This mission is simply wonderful. The architecture, the ambiance, the dogs, the emerald's "guardian" everything is spot on.
It's even more jaw-dropping that it was made in a month. Hats off to skacky and Prinxellier.
This mission is also special in such a way that it made me reconsider my attitude towards Thief. I thought I was a hardcore pro in Thief. But when I couldn't find the key stolen by the magpie, when in reality I was running around on the beams right under the door leading to it made me feel like a newbie. I had to come here and read the helpful comments to know that the key was right over my head in the attic (thanks Calibrator ;) ).

Still drops to ~60 FPS in some places here. But, that's better than dropping to 40 FPS. ��

Wow, enjoying this skacky.
So much to explore. Haven't done much yet, just making the streets safe!
However, I have managed to climb out of the map at one point: Up on the thief's highway, on a ledge under the big rotating wheel. Jumped SE onto a roof, climbed up, over the fence and out..

Please, would somebody, in pedantic, nay excruciating detail reserved for the well-and-truly clueless, describe the exact location of the magpie's nest. I have been searching for hours. I've even found a couple of heretofore unknown (to me locations), but the key to the Keeper's caged sanctuary just isn't happening. A screenshot even would be most kind. Thank you.

According to your last post, you already have the key that you need: the key found in a bird's nest. The gate was broken for me. I could only interact with it from an elevated position. You might have the same problem.

No, that was the wrong
birds nest. That one only contained a ring (I think)...I just saw glint and snatched it before I realized what it was. I have yet still to find the magpie nest. nicked on 3/12/2024 at 08:08

You're looking for a room behind a barred gate which can only be opened from the inside. Access that room via the wooden platform to the left of the barred gate. Once you're in that room, you can rope up onto the bed and there is a hatch above you.
From ground level, find the building with a fish sign and rope onto its roof, then look for a chain to cross to get to the terrace outside the barred room.
