henke you've gotten off track here. Commchat is not about discussion or sharing information. It's about being witty and hip. For instance, you could have titled the thread in the following ways:
1) Jack Palance is dead. Who fucking cares?
2) Jack Palance: Out before Scots_Taffer
3) Jack Palance is dead: Another opportunity to slag newbies who might post in this thread.

Jack was great. I loved the way he positive ooozed menace, the way be breathed his lines. I remember reading something about him being horribly injured in WW2 and having reconstructive surgery on his face, which is what gave him that kind of stretched look. He was cool, much more so than any of the newbies. Yeah he hadnt worked in a while, not since City Slickers I think, but he was part of the color of old hollywood. Sorry to see him go.
But like somebody else said, 84 and natural causes, what's to grieve? I should be so lucky.

actually i was riding on the fact that because i was talking about it, everyone would assume i was instantly concious of the fact that i know i'm being hypocritical and my words are more for comedy effect thus rendering any real blame pointless
