Am I right in saying that the European (or at least UK) release will be on DVD instead of CD? I'm sure I saw the DVD logo on a box pic in their recent ads.

hm...I guess IF I´ll buy it at all, it´s gonna be UK-DVD...

DX:IW was out this morning. I wanted to buy it as my PC met the minimum specs (which I didn't know) and I didn't know this. I don't have a DVD-ROM drive :(

well...this is a risk the publishers were willing to take...you know, it´s pretty strange not having a DVD-ROM nowadays, every, EVERY PC has them nowadays..
you ´re part of a minority! :D

my notebook's not even 1.5 years old, and when I bought it DVD-ROMs still were a curiosity.
still I'm pissed. :p

well..you must be lovin on some kind of french isle if DVD was a curiosity back then.
My old PC is 4 and a half yrs old, and back THEN it was a curiosity to have a DVD ROM.
Well, it was a curiosity getting it working...though 500Mhz were sufficient for DVD-playback. My "new" PC is exactly one year old, and not havng a DVD-ROM with it, would have been suicide...
I strongly suggest you buy one, not for the game, but for the future ;)

Note that I said DVD-ROMs, not just DVDs... ;) I have a DVD player, I just don't have access to the ROM features :)
But yeah, I admit I exaggerated a bit. ;)

Thank god that they're finally releasing games on DVDs!

I particularly like the fact that, in my local Woolies, the Xbox versions two rows above the PC one proudly proclaim, 'ONLY ON XBOX'. Ah-HA!
Actually only half right. 'Only developed on Xbox', maybe... :p
