International Women's Day?
This is the first time I remember ever hearing about it. This reeks of one more agenda-driven holiday thought up by communists to celebrate the "glorious masses". Either that or it's some sort of feminist bullshit from the seventies.
I hate holidays designed to celebrate some class of people. Fathers Day, Mothers Day, Secretaries Day. Bullshit, all of them. If you want to celebrate something, celebrate an actual event, or an invididual of import. There are lots of fathers, mothers, secretaries, and women who are scumbags, and they shouldn't get celebrated just because they have knocked out a kid, or know how to direct calls to executives.

We had a really nice holiday thread going, then That Guy had to show up... :tsktsk:
Here's what you need to do. Invent a time machine, get in it, go back in time to about 1995 and make that same post on a message board of your choosing. With a little luck you just might be among the first ten million people to enlighten the internet with this stunning exposition.

AGWPT, anybody told you that your blind patriarchal ideologies make you a grumpy prick ?
I hate this, I hate that, bullshit this, bullshit that, I found piece of tinfoil in the toothpaste this morning blahblah and I don't know why I waste time with this anyway.
What's wrong with having respect to human labor and celebrate women's contributions to the well-being of the mankind ? This event wasn't invented by commies, it was invented by women in labor unions and worker movements to improve their working condition. But I guess that equates to commies rite.
Beware, being grumpy is unpatriotic. :thumb:

And yet another bug seems to have crawled up AGWPT's arse. Time to call an exterminator, dear. :p ;)
BR: I love you.
Really.

Thats kind of my problem too. Minus anything up the butt however.
This Woman's day has given me a whole new respect for the women.
That should gain me some points. Yes?
