This is all so amusing, watching you jump at each new horrible bit of news that pops up. This kind of reaction suggests that you had some modest to high hopes for it from the start, which I also find hilarious.
[Edit] That 'jump' in the first sentence... totally unintentional, I swear to god. [/Edit]

No jumping allowed, Curunir.
Esme on 13/8/2013 at 13:45
given the context I think jumping is allowed here ;)

No, it shouldn't be as it will totally break my immersion in this thread. Next thing you know I'll be falling off my chair and then goodbye to any shreds of immersion that were left after all the jumping started.
;)

oops silly me it's the same button !
where are we in the narrative again, I've kind of lost track with all this jumping/falling/walking backwards malarkey ?

Thread begins with mention of hilarious, game-breaking design decision that basically negates any chance of game being even moderately good.
Comments continue to mention things people have been bitching about for 5 years and still aren't any bigger deals than they were then.
Well played.

I wanna ask you something people: How good or bad is this game compared to Deadly Shadows in your opinion? And what aspects of the title in question might be decent?
Sarcasms are welcomed as long as you also provide a serious response

Visually it looks nice but I don't buy games to look at.
The AI dogs are a nice addition, I've only seen them as caged burglar alarms so far though, can they roam about? will they go on a lead? are they controlled by the human AI or do they just run wild?
The claw could be useful as a short range rope arrow, not sure if it's limited to contextual actions or attachment points though, if it is limited then not so good.
I really don't like that gameplay seems to have been sacrificed to show us a story, the narrative has to be shown in a particular sequence and the player is constrained to actions which follow that sequence, again I don't buy games to look at
Too much has been removed that made the game worth playing for me
Compared to Deadly Shadows, which I'm not a huge fan of, I'd say DS is the better game from what I've seen, at least you can play DS and you aren't on rails, you can even explore a bit, though I did manage to explore my way out of the game in the first level once.
