I've been up for 25 hours. Why? - by Digital Nightfall

Well, the simple answer is that I worked the graveyard shift last night, 10 pm - 8 am. The more complex answer has to do with Deus Ex 2.
You see, before I went to work last night, at around 6, I fired the game up. I kept playing until I went to work at 9:30. As soon as I got off work, in spite of my fatigue, what do I do as soon as I get back in? I fire the game back up and play for another two hours.
I'm enjoying it. It's fun. After I get something to eat I will decide if I should go to sleep, or keep playing.

Y'know... I don't know wether that makes me trust in your opinion of T3 less or if it makes me have more faith in DXIW.
Coz... I haven't played DXIW...
just heard lots of stuff...
so.... yea...
Thanks for fucking with my head man.

I think you should consider it your responsibility to report this fact in your TDS impressions thread. Let's just leave it at that. :erg:

One should remember that Digi - or any recently started player - can approach this game from a bit different angle than those (we) disappointed ones. At this point everybody knows what Invisible War is and what it isn't, they know what to expect from the game.
And you got to admit, it can be fun. Put on Thermal Masking & Cloak, then run next to a military bot, dominate, go behind a corner and kill all with a crazed bot. Fun! :D

There is a strict curfew put on DXIW GenDisc forum but Digi has violated it! :cheeky:

Just curious,
How are you playing the game? Any self-imposed restrictions? (no weapons, no upgrades, kill everyone, kill nobody, etc.)?
Beware the physics mini-games, they can suck hours of your time. (stack, stack, stack, jump, roll cans, grenades, playing with ragdolls, etc.), but are possibly the best source of fun in-game. (Note, in C***o, you can stuff 4 or 5 KO'd bodies in a grate in between two levels (by jumping on the grate to stuff them in) then open the bottom and let them fall out, estimated time: 30 minutes.)
Breaking the game is also fun. In C***o you can pick up an unlimited amount of (null) grenades and throw them.

I remember the last game where people said the physics system was the most entertaining part-- Trespasser.

Heh,.. you want physics? I find that the best physics available to date can be found in none other than your backyard.
It's easy and free :)
Just get a piece of wood... a small bucket... a soccer ball, a football, a basketball, whichever you like, and start throwing them around. They deflect so realistically off everything; it's remarkable. Individual blades of grass get bent and slowly morph back to their default shape as objects bounce off them.
Watch, throw one of the balls into the bucket... neat huh?

Still, only about half of us at TTLG enjoy throwing dead bodies into grates and letting them fall down in real life.
