The first time I visited Shak, I, uh, "borrowed" a shield from him.
I didn't think he was looking, but
the crafty fellow seems to have eyes
in the back of his head. To make matters worse, I scooted out of there before he could kill me and (dumb me) saved my game.
Now whenever I go back, He's still ticked.
Will he get over it if I bring the sword
pieces to him or am I screwed?

I'd say you're screwed, but I've never tried a spell called "Ally". Hold on...

The runes are In Mani Rel. Just stand in front of him. It's a seventh lev spell.

Of course, until you'll be able to cast the spell, you'd better stick with your own repair skills.

The repair mantra is LON, you get it from Shak so you might have missed it - and then you'd have some problems !

Thanks, guys. He did tell me about that spell before I so rudely tried to relieve him of the shield. I just assumed that only he could repair rhe Sword of Justice.

As I recall, Shak WILL get over it - he'll go to "upset". If you still run into snags, maybe boost charisma.

LOL I remember this. I killed him one time before I got the damned sword fixed. He made me mad but I don't remember why. I think I stole something from him... I had to start all over.

Just in case anyone is wondering...Shak is either very forgiving or very forgetful. I went back there and he didn't recognize me. All is well.
