I wonder if the suicide will be broadcast, I'd really want to see it LIVE. Maybe, someone can do a tv special like ABC does every time David Blaine tries something stupid. :p

A LETTER TO PEOPLE FROM THE PLANET EARTH
PEOPLE, my suffering paternal heart is beseeching you fervently:
LET’S ORGANIZE THE FIRST HUMAN LINK IN THE WORLD
FOR THE SEARCH AND RESCUING OF A KIDNAPPED CHILD
The name of this nice little boy is Savestin and it means CONSCIENCE. The child was kidnapped at the age of 8 by an Iranian drug-pusher and a Bulgarian prostitute from the capital of Bulgaria on the 6th of May, 1997.
Little Suvestin turned into a symbol of a disappeared child for the whole nation but the Bulgarian state hasn’t got a system for protection and searching for disappeared children. There is a trade with children in Bulgaria.
The men in power don’t care about the tragedies of the children with such dooms. My paternal efforts to find my son remained vain. Now I’m wating with endless hope for the help and co-operation of people around the planet who have good hearts and conscience.
Bulgaria
Signature of the father:Todor Deyanov
The whole story is available at (
http://savestin.exactpages.com/) and is translated into several languages. This is the sad truth about Bulgaria and our politicians.
Now the father is going to commit a public suicide in Brussels at Schumann Place - European Institutions on 22.09.2006 because nobody wants to help him.
But you can help - either donate, make a website translated in your mother language or spread the information in this website.
God I just hate these things that scream "dire emergency" if YOU the NAIVE VIEWER doesn't do something - especially something like SPAM THIS ALL OVER THE PLACE. I hate chainmails that do it.
Of course - this one will turn out to be the "real one" that "should be spammed everywhere".
But god I hate these things...

While it is not indicative of my opinion one way or another, I just thought it was somewhat appropriate. Honestly, I am clueless as to how I would've reacted if I were to see that happening right in front of me. I'm pretty sure, though, that looking for matches isn't likely to be the first thing to come to my mind.

I think calling them Bulgarian authorities is a bit generous, since they don't appear to have any authority whatsoever. The whole Bulgarian system is riddled with corruption, and contract killings occur on the streets of Bulgaria with impunity. Not to mention that we in the UK have already seen how the Bulgarian government doesn't really care how many (
http://www.freemichaelshields.com/) lives they ruin, so long as they manage to keep a lid on any outrage that ensues.
Wikipedia's article disagrees with you:P It's blatantly non-NPOV, but it does show how there is another side to the story.
Though the writer can't spelled 'bias' right.

 Thanks for that. I should have known you'd bring Wikipedia into it given the raging hard-on you have for it (is Jimbo Wales your dad or something?)
You're at least correct that the Wiki article is a scandalously biased piece of crap that is barely worthy of second consideration. All you need to know is that when (
http://www.fairtrialsabroad.org/?m=View&action=DocumentContent&L1=5&L2=19&id=281&secId=5) Fair Trials Abroad is pushing your case, there's a rather good chance that you've been badly done by in court.

No, this is not dire emergency. We have been talking about this since 1998.
And yes, I also hate chainmails.
