A LETTER TO PEOPLE FROM THE PLANET EARTH
PEOPLE, my suffering paternal heart is beseeching you fervently:
LET’S ORGANIZE THE FIRST HUMAN LINK IN THE WORLD
FOR THE SEARCH AND RESCUING OF A KIDNAPPED CHILD
The name of this nice little boy is Savestin and it means CONSCIENCE. The child was kidnapped at the age of 8 by an Iranian drug-pusher and a Bulgarian prostitute from the capital of Bulgaria on the 6th of May, 1997.
Little Suvestin turned into a symbol of a disappeared child for the whole nation but the Bulgarian state hasn’t got a system for protection and searching for disappeared children. There is a trade with children in Bulgaria.
The men in power don’t care about the tragedies of the children with such dooms. My paternal efforts to find my son remained vain. Now I’m wating with endless hope for the help and co-operation of people around the planet who have good hearts and conscience.
Bulgaria
Signature of the father:Todor Deyanov
The whole story is available at (
http://savestin.exactpages.com/) and is translated into several languages. This is the sad truth about Bulgaria and our politicians.
Now the father is going to commit a public suicide in Brussels at Schumann Place - European Institutions on 22.09.2006 because nobody wants to help him.
But you can help - either donate, make a website translated in your mother language or spread the information in this website.

Erm, far be it from me to denigrate the suffering of a father who's lost their child, but if 'no one wants to help him' why is Savestins photo featured on both the Interpol and Bundeskriminalamt websites?
Also, if the attitude taken by the Bulgarian authorities is as suggested in the articles, then I'm doubtful that they'll qualify for EU membership come 1st January '07.

Matthew...
The case Suvestin has been published in Interpol in 2000, but the boy has been kidnapped in 1997. Too late.
Also, the photos published in the website of Interpol are FALSE or non-effective ( for exapmple crampled press clippings ) and this is described in (
http://suvest.hit.bg/) in Bulgarian language. The father thinks that Interpol-sofia is spreading false information deliberately.

I think calling them Bulgarian authorities is a bit generous, since they don't appear to have any authority whatsoever. The whole Bulgarian system is riddled with corruption, and contract killings occur on the streets of Bulgaria with impunity. Not to mention that we in the UK have already seen how the Bulgarian government doesn't really care how many (
http://www.freemichaelshields.com/) lives they ruin, so long as they manage to keep a lid on any outrage that ensues.

Christ, it's the second thrilling installment of Stront's Bulgaria: A Backwards Country :p

Harsh, man :erg: that earlier thread is ancient history.
But I think we here do have the right to question the way the Bulgarian government conducts its business, given that the citizens of that country will shortly become de facto citizens of this country too. I am a firm believer in European expansion, but it does worry me that certain countries in Eastern Europe bear as much resemblance to the Wild West as they do to progressive liberal democracies.
