It's The Little Things That Make You ... - by Queue

As TBE says there are more than a few. In fact there is one a few miles up the Pacific Coast Highway from me, not to mention a few in some subdivisions and other communities.
They are not exclusive to Europe.
You've probably not seen a Auburn Boattail, but they do exist. If your acceptance is based only on what you have seen, you are going to be constantly suprised by reality.

So I either have to correct spelling and grammar again and edit the new text into the brochure, or I have to go over the new text with a fine toothed comb and compare it to the brochure I made to find out the two or three things they've changed.
Export both files as plain text. Get WinMerge ((
http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/winmerge_portable) portable version) and compare them.

Ok chief, steady on. Let me qualify my remark a bit more for you.
I've been to more states than a lot of Americans probably have over the past twenty years, so it's not like I don't have extensive experience of driving around in your country and personally, I never saw one. Neither do I find it surprising that you do (and don't use them properly...TBE).
And there's always (

I spotted my first Stateside roundabout a good five years ago and they've been steadily spreading ever since.

In fact, is there even a single roundabout in the States? I don't recall ever seeing one.
Isn't Washington D.C. one big roundabout?
I've run across a few in my neck of the woods: On MSU's campus (though I suspect they exist just to make all the Asians feel at home), outside of Brighton, in Okemos, and in the Detroit area (but I can't remember exactly where). The things are useless here in the States. The problem lies in the fact that the majority of drivers, especially those found here in the Mid-West and the more rural areas of the country, would normally never encounter one, nor have they been trained on how one works (but then again, we were shown during driver's training how to change a tire, now I guess they figure you just call 911). So instead of just going with the flow of traffic, when they do come across one, they panic and have no idea what to do, thus negating the whole idea of a roundabout.

Roundabouts don't work well in the US because the motherfucking inbreds don't know the meaning of YIELD.

Let me add another one: people with no respect for other people's sleep.
Last night, I was kept up an hour later than I went to bed (which was already a bit too late) by some jackoff talking at an almost yelling volume about his days at West Point. Guess what? Nobody cares about what you did in college, no matter how prestigious the school was. Cut out the yapping and do it somewhere where you won't wake up an entire apartment building.

A new trend in Holland that really annoys me is people walking by themselves or in small groups who play their hip-hop/R&B music from phone speakers or small portable speakers. I mean, they clearly do it only because they think it makes them seem cool, they certainly don't do it for the sound quality because it sounds absolutely terrible, really tinny without any bass (and bass is very important in that style of music), I can't imagine them actually enjoying their music this way. If they cared about sound quality at all, they would wear ear buds or headphones like normal people, but that wouldn't be as cool as letting the whole world know what music you are listening to. People blasting loud music from car stereos with the windows open is pretty obnoxious too, but at least that sounds good so I can understand why they're doing it.
And it's always rap/R&B, never any other kind of music, and I really dislike that genre of music so that's why it annoys me even more. It's often done by the same people who wear their pants' crotch around their knees.
I'm curious, do British/US douchebags do this too or is it strictly a Dutch phenomenon?
BTW, Kolya, thanks for the tip, I'll go check that program out the next time I might need it.

On my street; new neighbors just moved in. They have a 17yr. old teenage son. I saw him carrying 4 HUGE sound system speakers into the house. You see where I'm going with this? For the last 5 months; BOOM BOOM BOOM  ;all hours of the night; I happen to work day shift. You walk over and tell him to turn it down; he just laughs and makes it LOUDER than before. :tsktsk:
