It's The Little Things That Make You ... - by Queue

Beyond asinine threads such as this, what are those little things that you encounter day-by-day that makes you exclaim, "What fucking idiot ... ?"
1 - Why are the parking spaces and parking lot at Home Depot so unfriendly (i.e. nearly impossible to swing into or maneuver around) to larger-sized pickup trucks?
Wouldn't the majority of their customers, considering what they sell (you know, little stuff like building supplies and lumber) tend to go shopping with a truck? Yet the lot design seems more geared toward compact and mid-sized cars, making it an adventure to swing into a space, and then to later back out with a loaded vehicle and line of cars fitted tightly in behind and beside you.

The local Home Depot here has cordoned off a section of the parking lot that's reserved for contractors, big trucks and stuff. There's nothing that says it, but the idea comes across pretty clear that parking there with your compact car or whatever is at your own risk.
So, SOMEbody's thinking about it.
My biggest little everyday pet peeve is the legions of idiots driving around with a cell phone glued to their ear and vacuous perma-grins on their faces. It's like driving around the valley of the dolls.

Idiots that buy automobiles with manual transmissions and then don't know how to use a manual transmission.
Then proceed to abuse the automobile by using the wrong shift points and under-reving the engine as they shift.

I swear most of mine have an invisible thought cloud above their head with the moon on a stick.

Uh...where to begin?
1. Pigeons waking me up at 8 in the morning because they congregate outside my balcony. Damn flying rats.
2. The daily construction noises. And they say this is a financial crisis.
3. Loiterers at 12 midnight staying outside to chit chat loudly. People actually sleep at that hour and don't need to listen to music.
4. Car alarms set on super sensitive. Just what the hell makes a guy think that if a car alarm sounds when the wind is passing it will be more safe? dimwits. >.<
5. Children screaming like they're being slaughtered when playing.
6. A whole lot of other human related things.
Yup...I should move to the woods to ever get some peace and quiet. :tsktsk:

The only thing worse is when you see some driver (usually female) doing the same thing, but with their "spare" hand flapping around wildly like a high school gossip queen announcing her friend's latest affair. My only comfort is knowing how that behavior effects their life expectancy.

My only comfort is knowing how that behavior effects their life expectancy. The only problem is that probably more often than not, their behaviour ends up affecting someone
else's life expectancy.
