Look! It's Starcraft! WITH MORE STUFF!
Fixed. And really, that's all the fans have been wanting since Brood War.
Dunno about you, but I sort of dislike it when a sequel to a successful franchise radically departs from it's predecessor.

Generally agreed, but not this time, simply because I didn't really like Starcraft's gameplay already back then, and I'd have preferred something better. But oh, well, if the story's as good* as the original, it should be fine.

And yet it's guaranteed to sell 200 times what the Homeworlds, Impossible Creatures, Dawn of War and Company of Heroes and Supreme Commander COMBINED did.
Fixed, and I'd like to add that it's guaranteed exactly because it's the same old stuff.

Oh, thank god, because I was just thinking that what the world really really needs is another fucking RTS.

If you didn`t like the original Starcraft or Warcraft 3, then you`ll definately not like it. Sequels are generally there for those who loved the games before and are dying for more.

Well, even though I wasn't really impressed by the gameplay, Starcraft's story was great. And if they can continue it in the same quality, then it's worth playing, even if only once.

Thanks for opening the Pandora's Box again.

Great! Haven’t played anything blizzard since frozen throne cos of my lame internet connection, but yet their still my favourite developer. Don’t see how this can fail, don’t want to sound to fanboyish but this could potentially become my favourite RTS (taking the crown from Warcraft 3), blizzard never release unfinishes/rushed material. In my opinion every game since warcraft 1 has been getting better. None of it’s ground breaking or fresh, but it’s the best formula done better than anyone ells has the patience or skill to do it.
Now the wait :nono:

Fallout 3... Deus Ex 3... Starcraft 2... this will be an interesting time.

Well, the main thing SC got going for it was the game balance. I'll guess it will take some patches before SC2 will be anywhere near the first one again in that regard.
