Hey all you fine folks at the TTLG forums,
One of the best parts of my year is getting my annual birthday well-wishes from your server. I know it's automated, but it's the small things like this that mean a lot to me. I just wanted to take the time to come on here and thank all of you who do their part in keeping this place up and running. It's been I-don't-know-how-long since I last posted on here and I never posted too much, but I still consider this place as something of an online home. Thanks to you all and keep up the great work!

Good God Man, it's not like the sentiment isn't appreciated but I sincerely hope not.

Me, too. Not sure why, but it does feel good. And I always imagine that MsLedd is the one sending them out. She is the Server Goddess, after all, so one can hope...
Happy Birthday, zifnab. Hope it was special!!

Haha, I actually normally use the screen name ZifnabXar.
Ulukai, I'm not saying I don't have other great parts of my life, it just always makes me really happy to get the email. I thought I should just come and express my gratitude this year.

Where does the name come from? I'ts (
http://twitter.com/zifnabxar) pretty distinctive so I guess it must have some coded meaning.
Getting the Birthday email is a nice touch, but quite a few of us are addicted to ttlg and suffer from side effects when unable to connect to the forums.

The name came out of AIM's old system of creating screen names. You'd give them three things you like and they'd give you some screen names which were available.
Sorry to hear about your addiction, though I won't go so far as to say that I hope you can overcome it soon.
