The media circus will go on and on. I'm glad I don't watch much TV, though sadly the radio will be full of it.

Sure, it's all bunting and street parties now, but wait until its skin hardens, the venom spitting begins and the virgin daughters of commoners start disappearing in the night.

Correction: It's a Buoy For Royalist PR and magazine sales!
That was worthy of a Private Eye cover.

Well it's funny you should say that. I happened to stumble across this yesterday...

As far as I'm aware, all of these comments were made in absolute seriousness.

Oh wtf ever. I just watched a video of the brief interview the new parents gave prior to leaving the hospital and in spite of the fact that they're 'Royals', they seemed like well adjusted (albeit a bit dazed-looking), normal new parents; liked the fact that Will's already done a nappy-changing stint. Congrats & best wishes, I say. Now tell the media to leave them the hell alone so they can start raising their little bundle of joy.
P.S. I was rather impressed by the admission of two paparazzi who declined to take pictures of Kate while she & Will were entering the hospital. They apparently thought it would be in bad taste to photograph a young woman in labor. Kudos to those guys. :thumb:

That would have been bad ass!
Of course, once I heard the announcement of the Prince's name, this ran through my mind:

Ha ha. That was mentioned by one of the newspapers.
