A report that found that illegal immigrants in the United States cost the federal government more than $10 billion a year
I'm just saying...
Fett is right, you can't blame illegals for coming to the United States for a better life of getting payed half minimum wage, it's aweful. Even more sickening was a month or so ago when an illegal tried to take hom 58k dollars on an airplane and the government Siezed it and sent him on his way.
What I tried to convey in my post is that I'm pissed at the government and companies, not the immigrants, I can't blame anyone for trying for a better life, and why I'm pissed is that this move by the government is making all the more alluring and profitable for an illegal to come into the United States.
They're costing the US 10 billion dollars a year now, but if we were to give them amnesty, according to the Washington Post...

a sum it estimated would almost triple if they were given amnesty
I personally see issuing federal ID's to illegals as pretty serious, and possibly even a step closer to amnesty

In other words, a step in the right direction
Let's recognize them for their work and get them in the system. The problem isn't that people are illegally entering this country to work, it's that we don't have a system in place that can handle the need.
And make no mistake, the USA needs them, no matter what stats you dredge up from the Washington Post. Seal the borders, close down all illegal immigrant employment, and dance upon the collapse of the United States as we know it.

I remember that the woman who was deported after coming out of refuge to speak at a rally earlier this year was a pretty juicy target for these 'angry white men.' In my experience, most of these borderline racist types don't exactly try too hard to differentiate between Americanized and un-Americanized immigrants. I believe the blame is on stress. Anyway, the next State of the Union Address should be interesting, eh?

I got no problem with people wanting to come here and work. That said, I wish they'd learn the common language and not turn into drug dealers. But I really get PO'ed at the Mexican president's (prime minister? Dictator?) stance. "Anywhere there is a mexican, is Mexico!" Screw that! If I were the president, I would declare that an act of war and that any illegal immigrant is to be regarded as a hostile occupying force! And before you people go calling me on how we're illegal immigrants that stole the place from the NA's, it's called Right of Conquest. It'd be a cold day in hell before the Mexican Army conquers America.
