I was sort of lost after graduating college and started a really dumb job I wasn't sure I'd like, and sure enough I didn't ... And one day I stumbled into some website for teaching English in Korea and it dawned on me there are people out there that will pay me to travel to their country and live and work, see the world, learn another culture, and I don't need a dime. And it was the perfect break from everything, that gave me time to get ready for the next step (for me, lawschool) and actually was much better for me in the end, it put me on a high when I came back to the US and made even more progress.
There's other ways to work-travel than just teaching English (although a Russian girl was teaching with us and your English is better than her's; she told her Korean employers that her awful accent was Texan -- because all the other teachers, like me, were Texan --and they believed her, haha). Anyway, just something to keep in mind.
