This is the great thing about DXIW, the factions. They just did it so well, towards the end of the game you are immersed in the gritty politics.
As for me, At the start I sided with the WTO, which I believe I would have done without second thought if it was happening for real. I also did a few Order things, not out of principal, just because I thought I could get equipment, credits and stuff off them for doing missions. I also dealed heavily in the darker side of life - IE the secondary missions for street thugs and stuff. I killed for the Club Vox owner, and told NG about the Omar. Then once the WTO or whoever came and got rid of the Omar, then I decided to go do the mission they had sent me on ;) and earned a discount. I then destroyed QueeQueg's coffee, then I did the mission the QueeQuegs manager gave me. I then killed Gobzilla and made a fortune. When it comes to the thugs, I have no principals and do everything.
Then Cairo. Destroyed the greenhouse by hacking the security computer. I love hacking. Basically, continued my WTO work, I spared Nassif and interrogated her. I couldn't resist helping out the poor guys, so cleaned the air. Secondary Missions: I killed the guy the Harvester wanted dead, spied on the Templars and reported to Leo, also killing the Templars in the other building. I did what the Omar wanted in Flight Bay 24, reported to the WTO woman who wanted info, helped the poor girl by hacking into Tarsus and accepting her, took the money from the guy hiding the Clean Air thing, bribed NG's manager for Pequods, then reported her to NG, and basically did everything.
Skip to Liberty Island, I ended up siding with the Dentons, and killing the Illuminati and Templar leaders to boot. Though in real life I probably would have went with the Illuminati to be honest.
Sorry this was so long, I didn't actually intend to describe everything I did in Seattle and Cairo ;)

hm...well...
I guess I'll do it the same way...btw, what was that with Gobzilla, who should I bet on after killing this...thing?

The bum that gives you the mission tells you that it will be easy for one of them (He says it by name, but I forget it) to win. Bet on the one he tells you to.
It worked for me, but it might be a bit random, so save.

lol...well, how many credits you get for that?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the odds are 4-1, and I think the maximum bet is 500 credits. Do the math ;)

Like a true Scot, I hoarded my money and had about 2000 at the end... Don't do that ;)
