Do they make a keyboard with that exact layout, but with modern keysprings? I ask because my currect keyboard is just that, and I dread the day I have to replace it. I've had this for about six years and I will never use a keyboard with a functioning Windows key.

Then switch to Linux.

Clearly you haven't used KDE recently, ZB.
I removed my Windows key after I got tired of games minimising if I missed Ctrl. I put it down somewhere, but it disappeared. Can't say I miss it, but there's one on the other side anyway.

Unicomp seem to have the rights to the design now; they produce an (
http://www.pckeyboard.com/customizer.html) old-style version and a 'quiet touch' version.

"Holz Kontor's keyboards are made entirely of wood. Every key has been individually crafted from the same tree as the rest of the keyboard making the final product absolutely stunning and extremely expensive (around $800 a piece)."
(From Vernon's link)Yes, DarkViper, Holz Kontor means Wood Contour and is the US name of the same company, so what I said was:
They are really expensive, but I don't see any point in the cheaper knockoffs.
I know you wanted to jump me for not checking out the links properly in true Internet style but I really did do my research.

My old keyboard has no Winkeys or Power/Wake/Sleep after an 'accident' involving Diablo minimising, me deciding enough was enough, and the presence of a screwdriver on my desk...
I did hang onto the keys, but I forget where I put them.
