That looks very much like the original jewel case packaging. Check the version number.
It should be 1.33 which is the patched version (version 2).
Open the installed folder. Select the EXE and right click check properties, and check the product version ##(last in the list under VERSION tab). If it is 1.14 then dl and install the patch.
Not sure it will help your problem but it will when you get the program running.
What operating system are you running? If it's XP check Administrative tools, EVENT VIEWER, APPLICATIONS and check the warning or Error that shows at the time the game stopped running.

Ok, running version 1.33.
Downloaded the Thieffixed application right after install and it seems to get me farther than the original .exe that comes in the install. The original .exe would just lock up with I went to enter the mission instead of giving me an error and closing the program.
As far as the administrative controls/event viewer/application, it just comes up with, "Application Error." In it's properties is the following, "Faulting application thieffixed.exe, version 1.9.0.0, faulting module thieffixed.exe, version 1.9.0.0, fault address 0x001781ec."
Is there a graphics fix for this game required like there is for Thief 2 that I'm missing?

Fixed. Just needed to apply the DDFix.
