Yes this was pretty horrific, plus the gigantic protests by pro-Hamas mobs the last week in places like New York, London, Berlin etc show that if Israel loses, the survivors will have no place to go in the West. They have to make a last stand right there in Israel, or all die.

Today I learned that the Hamas attackers were supplied and found with the drug Captagon, an amphetamine that makes them more effective terrorists. It's manufactured in Syria and Lebanon and widely smuggled in the middle-east. Interesting piece of the puzzle, imo.

Interesting. Nobody should be surprised though. Lots of military actions are fought by keeping the soldiers drugged up. The US has done it during the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts by using legally prescribed uppers and downers so our military members could stay in the field for prolonged periods. Of course there are severe mental health issues that come with that kind of thing.

Most people I've seen speak out for Palestine in the Western world are not pro-Hamas, they are simply against mass killings of civilians on either side and that includes the Palestinian side.

In such a small area it is not easy to separate the two. It's like trying to separate innocent civilians from members of the IRA.

What are you talking about? Israelis could settle back in virtually any western nation and live a relatively undisturbed, normal life. N.B. I'm not saying they should have to, just that they could.
