I finally bought DX:IW as I found it at a UK retailer (Play.com) at more or less half the price I'd get it for, here in Italy. I plan on playing it after finishing the game I'm currently struggling with.
Thinking I'd download the latest patch in the meantime, I surfed to the official site, and noticed the entire soundtrack has been added to the downloads section. Curious, I go there, and oops, the first thing I notice is that the title of song no.11 gives away something about the game. I quickly went elsewhere before uncovering more unwanted info, but I have learnt already that there is something specific to expect, while I'd rather have the surprise while playing.
As I said, I haven't played the game yet, so maybe it's really nothing relevant, but hasn't it been a bit stupid on Eidos' side anyway? Oh well, time will tell...

Yeah...and, if you watch the installation, it tells you the name of the ending movie(s).

Original Deus Ex installation process also pretty much spoils the location progress & some factions as the level names are quite descriptive.

Nothing like buying Star Wars ep. 1 soundtrack the day before watching the movie and reading the track list on the back:
11.- Qi-Gon's funeral 3:22

Fortunately, nothing about Ep1 is particularly worth getting worked up about.
