Well, it's obviously better on the PC as you get the editor and suchlike. Also, as I don't have an X-Box, I don't know if you can use plugins or not; they're a very nice thing to have. Lastly, if you screw yourself up, on the PC you can use the console to fix many things (getting stuck in walls, losing quest items, etc)
So, I'd say the PC version is better but I don't think you'll exactly hate it for your setup.

For the Xbox, you lose some flexibility with mods and plugins and stuff. But it's probably the best console-based RPG you'll find this year. Unless, of course, they're releaseing Neverwinter Nights for something.
