Is this a bug in morrowind or am i not finished?

Hey,

Ive finished the morrowind main quest, as well as EVERY quest in the thief, fighters and mages guild. Im the master of those 3 guilds but im only an operative rank in the blades. I'm also only a hearthfriend (i think that was the rank) with the ashlanders. How do I become the masters? Do i need the tribunal expansion to advance further, or is it a plugin, which would be bad because i dont know how to use these plugins and the TES and stuff. Can sum1 please explain this all to me?:confused:

I know that operative is as high as you can go in the blades. Not sure about the ashlanders (my memory is fading) As far as I know Tribunal doesn't give you any advancements either. Maybe in future expansions they'll allow you to advance.

I'm not aware of any mods that offer what you're askng for, but if you want to learn about how to use them just visite sites like (http://thelys.free.fr/mods.htm) or (http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind/mods/mods.asp)

If you download a few you'll find a readme file that explains how to use them. Basically you just unzip them into morrowind\datafiles and in the load up screen click "data files" and check the box next to the plugins you want to use.

Ashlanders aren't supposed to be a faction, but technically they are... just four tribes with their wise women and clan leaders... the hearthfriend is the highest you'll get, and blades... I would think the emporer guy would be the master... you won't see him in this game...

ok, i guess i cant look over all my factions and be the master...yet...but im interested in getting tribunal now. I went to the elderscrolls.com site and it said not to use the 1.2.0722 patch on morrowind if tribunal was installed first. Ive got that patch installed but i want to install tribunal when i get it. Will it cause any problems or will it work fine since im installing tribunal AFTER i installed the morrowind patch, cause i really dont want to have to restart my game...ive built a fairly ultimate character that took forever!

That patch was made before Tribunal came out... If you installed the patch before you got tribunal your fine... the site means for you not to run the patch after you install tribunal... when you get tribunal, install the tribunal patch... its like 1.3 or 1.4 something...
