Hi, recently reinstalled T2 for FMs and I installed all the scripts, DDFix,(manually edited INI also) and widescreen fix. when I load up the game and go to options it shows that I am running in 16 bit color and i dont know how to fix this at all! I've also downloaded ep1, nxts and sound enchancement for thief 2.

I'm pretty sure the game always says that even when the textures are 32-bit.

Doesn't mean you have the mods and stuff installed correctly... just that you can't verify it in the game. I think NV or ZB said you can tell you have 32bit textures if there isn't noticeable 16bit dithering on them in dark shadows. Can someone who knows confirm?

32-bit textures != 32-bit rendering.
But yes, the only difference between 16-bit and 32-bit rendering is that in 16-bit mode you'll either see dithering (if your graphics card handles it correctly), or blocky greenish posterization (if your graphics card does not handle it correctly).
The only way to get 32-bit
textures is via DDFix and an appropriate texture upgrade pack.

Doh, I knew that. Thanks for clearing it up. I should just stay out of this kind of thread. :eww:
