How about the unique hammer (Veloth's judgement) you get from the Molag Mar temple to complete a vamp-killing quest? You are unlikely to get that without joining the temple.

:D
i'm using the cuirass from Fyr's closet. it makes my magicka resistance 110 % with my natural 50 %: ) so i don't have to worry about magic damage... the ebony cuirass sounds very cool(ah yes they are even not comparable:()... but it may not worth the sight of those dusty temples until u do all the quests. i think i would get bored. On the other hand i'm still angry to the mages guild that i haven't got anything really useful yet although i've finished most of the quests (only some of skink's and Trebonius' are left). even the staff of magnus doesnt worth carrying.
Do they give useful items from Telvanni quests:cheeky: ? i'm going to join them but i'm still trying to get expelled from Hlaalu without trouble but when i try to steal something near them to just get expelled and walk away, the WHOLE HOUSE attacks me and of course i dont want to blast them all off as i may need them in the future:erg:
ANIA mentioned an 80% chameleon (for 60 seconds) amulet in another thread (in "What is your favorite weapon?") and wrote that it is an independent quest somewhere around Gnisis.
AND I WANTED IT SOOO MUCH that i've searched the whole area to see the lady, and finally i did : ) it's actually a surprising quest. this is where she is:
when u look at the map, u see that, bigger part of gnisis is on the bottom right corner of a square shaped piece of land mostly surrounded with water. there is a dwemer ruin on the top right corner of that square. and the lady stands just at the bottom of the huge bridge that goes from the top of a hill to the ruins(east to west). she is at the bottom of one of the bridges legs (in the walley) on the south side of the bridge, close to the hill. but be careful, at the end, u may find yourself wet and being attacked by a hollowman, a dangerous lady, and a cliff racer all at once. i was nearly crying.
it is really very useful specially when i use it with my 20% chameleon spell : )
thank u ANIA!!! because i was just going to spend 10.000s of gold for a similar item. Now i have a whole set of glass armor from the ghostgate - i just wanted to see if the amulet works properly:cheeky: he he he
PS to EXILE: i've realized that i have both of those drums in my room. but i got another one from somewhere else to give Fyr's wife, because it's a part of the decoration of my room : )

I just recieved the Ebony Mail. The quests aren't too boring, though I'm exceptionally good at doing mindless, tedious tasks. I'm still deciding whether to use the Dragonbone Cuirass or the Ebony Mail... Ebony Mail does resist fire 75%, shield 50pts. and resist magicka 20%. Dragonbone Cuirass does resist fire 100%.
... And Dragonbone Cuirass looks cooler.
.. Hm... you're talking to the guy that refused to use anything but the Umbra Sword for a while because he thought it looked cooler.

From what I've heard, they give you more or less a full suit of Daedric armor. You don't need to get expelled from Hlaalu to use PCRaiseRank, but if you do want to get expelled, all you have to do is go into the manor of a Hlaalu noble and try to sleep in his bed while he's looking. Make amends and do it again and you'll be permanantly expelled.

ii think it is not hard to decide wether dragonbone or ebony is better... specially if u r more a mage-like character, u should die for (it is non-sense i know...) resist fire 75%, shield 50pts. and resist magicka 20%...i wouldn't ignore shield50 and magicka20% for just an extra 25% resit fire...and if appearance is so important, they all look the same behind enchantments...:)
yesss... the bed laws... how could i forget that. yes it's that easy...thanks

Hrm... Therana'll give a couple bits of weightless Daedric armor (a cuirass and something else); Aryon gives some really nice gloves that do summoning of powerful critters, and there's a number of powerful items that the Telvanni Masters send you to find... that you can just keep, if you have enough prestige to advance ;)

COOL!!!
I'M GONNA JUST SLEEP IN MR HLAALU'S BED AND THEN HEAD TO SADRITH MORA...
(this smilie was being used by sappe i think- sorry but it just suits like a glove here:p )
I HOPE THE ARMOR U MENTIONED IS REALLY LIGHT AS U SAY... OTHERWISE I HAVE NO CHANCE TO USE THEM. I'M USING GLASS NOW...AND THE DAEDRIC ONES HE GIVES SHOULD BE LIKE FEATHERS TO BE MY PREFERENCE.:laff: (because they are usually too heavy as far as i know)
THANKS:)

You mean bound armor? If so, the armor is not only completely weightless, but also has some fortify attribute / skill enchantments. However, IIRC, it has lower AR than normal Daedrics.

I think they are enchanted W/ feather. Or is that some other ones?
