You don't sound like a wuss :) IMO=in my opinion, and IIRC=if I remember correctly.

I couldn't for the life of me figure out what LOL meant- lots of love? But that just made no sense most of the time! I do now know (having asked!) that it's Laughing Out Loud.
But back to the corprusarium, I remember seeing somewhere that skooma pipes can be used for alchemy (potion making)- you equip it instead of one of the other pieces of apparatus. I don't know what difference it is supposed to make.
And as to the other questions:
1. I think that the girl with the amulet thing is something connected with a House Redoran quest, isn't it? The Mad Lord of Milk, or something? Or am I utterly wrong here? (Never played Redoran, but stumbled across the quest)
Umm... That's it.

yepp... i've tried to equip the skooma pipe before but there are three more slots to fill... it must be three of the alchemy apparatus...i should try it with my apparatus on me someday... i think u use moon sugar and make skooma with that pipe... if i can manage this, i will be rich:cheeky: their prices are quite high. and i ve been collecting moon sugar since i've first heard that they are narcotic:) i have hundreds of them and still dreaming of using them someway:weird: my mage deserves getting high:angel:
i ve opened both the closet and the chest of that Dwemer-pudding with spells...
there was a huge amount of coins in them and the books all inceased my skills...around ten books...
the only think that i'm sorry of being unable to HAVE was the book of artifacts... he was so close to it. so i had no chance of tele-stealing it :tsktsk:
actually i am on the other end of the country now, doing something completely different. even remembering that place makes me :eww:
but thanks to all of u... u really helped me a lot.

The Skooma Pipes are actually retorts. Using them in combination with a mortar will reduce all of the negative effects your potion has and will contribute to its quality. All of the pipes are only of apprentice quality, so they aren't very valuable as alchemy equipment. You can get them from Telvanni towers or in the Upper Waistworks of the Foreign Quarter. There's also a unique skooma pipe on a corpse near Balmora that stars a small quest. You can't make skooma with them, nor could you create a potion with similar effects because the game limits you to only one fortify attribute effect and one drain attribute effect when making potions. Skooma has two of each.
If you have Tribunal, a similar book listing unique artifacts is avaliable to be taken from the back of the Museum in Godsreach.
Once you free Mandas, you can go to her grandfather (?) in Ebonheart. He's the guy in Dwemer, on the first level. After you talk to him, you can give the amulet Mandas gives you to Arethan Mandas in Milk. Then you can go to Sarethi in his manor under Skar for his thanks and a disposition increase with all Redorans (?).
And if you want to make a trip through there easier, bring a Guar Drum and give it to the Dunmer next to Bagarn.

first af all, thanks:)
i will look for that unique skooma. even just having it will make me feel better : )
but ihavent got tribunal yet. but ive heard about that museum : ) i think it buys unique items for half of their price. right? i'll have tribunal very very soon
I believe there is a problem with the organs of my computer that makes the Mandas quest work properly, since neither Sarethi nor the grandfather recognise me. i have the amulet in my inventory but there is nothing to say about that in their dialogue box... i think i ve done something wrong. it is possible because i havent got involved in the main quests yet in the game, and i just travel around the country and just steal, and do independent small quests or guild quests and just see and learn the cities . but while doing those i sometimes do things that i later realize it is a part of a quest and i'm doing it from end to start. i think i just should go to the ashlander camp that Caius told me to go and reveal myself as Nerevarine. and forget about robbing the telvanni towers for a while... if not, my character will become an ordinary NPC, not a hero as supposed:cheeky:
see? i dont know what Milk is... so that's a part of a quest too:(
isn't the " Dunmer next to Bagarn" one of the doughters of Fyr? and the Guar Drums must be those twin drums. i cant imagine what will happen but i will try...
thank you
Actually i have another problem if you dont " :eww: "...
i wonder if i can leave the Hlaalu and join Telvanni. i just joined to Hlaalu when i realised that i should join one of the great houses (only the mages guild is not enough for the game:)) because it seemed more openminded so they will make me suffer less than the other houses would:) But now i want to be a Telvanni (it's not a result of a research about the backgrounds and ideologies of the houses), i just want it because i'm a sorcerer and i like their towers. it must be open enough:cheeky:
anyway they dont let me join. they say i'm a member of Hlaalu already but i havent even steal the dispel magic formula from the Foreign Quarter for them. it must be the second or third quest. i will just kill some Hlaalu :devil:and they kick me out, so i'll be free to join the Telvanni:angel:
Should i also join the Temple? i mean is it important for the game? because i hate them.
thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No problem. And since this is the spoiler forum, the pipe is on a corpse just outside the city limits, near the path to Caldera from the Temple. Pick the lock on Tsiya's house in Balmora and start a dialogue about the note. As a reward for informing her about her smoking buddy's unfortunate situation, she gives you some gold and 10 Moon Sugar.

The topic "Arethan Mandas" should open up with Sarethi and Mandas in Ebonheart after you rescue the woman from Tel Fyr. In case you didn't know, the key to the door is in a locked chest in the room next to it. Mandas only needs to be leaded out of the tower for you to get the journal entry and her amulet. IIRC, Milk is near Maar Gan, in the Ashlands, somewhere between Bal Isra, the Ghostfence, Foyada Bani-Dad, and the mountains leading to the West Gash. A pretty large search area, but you should be able to find it. The location itself is a smuggler's cave. Don't kill the guy wearing Ebony, because he is Mandas. And don't worry about your claimed lack of faction affiliation. My mage is also a pure freelancer, and I even still have the three a1_1 documents in the Foreign Quarter Waistworks, waiting until I work up the boredom t actually complete the main quest. I would recommend the mod "Freelancer" to help you open some quests and fix those annoying quests that just stay in your journal, even if you decline or complete the line.
isn't the " Dunmer next to Bagarn" one of the doughters of Fyr? and the Guar Drums must be those twin drums. i cant imagine what will happen but i will try... thank you
Once again, you're welcome. The guarskin drum is one of the two drums in the game, and giving it to the Dunmer will make the Corpri less aggressive. It helps if you can't withstand their attacks for long and you don't know the short way to Bagarn's part of the dungeon. You can probably find a guar drum in the House of Earthly Delights or any number of bars, or you can look through the Corprusarium to find one. Why bother? Well, if you really screw up the main quest, you will need to talk with Bagarn on a number of occasions.
Actually i have another problem if you dont ":eww:"...
Nah, I have a very strong constitution. Ask away.
i wonder if i can leave the Hlaalu and join Telvanni. i just joined to Hlaalu when i realised that i should join one of the great houses (only the mages guild is not enough for the game) because it seemed more openminded so they will make me suffer less than the other houses would But now i want to be a Telvanni (it's not a result of a research about the backgrounds and ideologies of the houses), i just want it because i'm a sorcerer and i like their towers. it must be open enough anyway they dont let me join. they say i'm a member of Hlaalu already but i havent even steal the dispel magic formula from the Foreign Quarter for them. it must be the second or third quest. i will just kill some Hlaalu and they kick me out, so i'll be free to join the Telvanni
Yes, the Telvanni suit your needs. Not only are they not complete and utter slime, like the Hlaalu, but they are also filled with independent and... eccentric wizards. Not quite as honorable as the Redorans, but they more or less let you do your own thing. While the most you can do to get out of Hlaalu is get yourself expelled, you can easily join Telvanni through the console.
PCRaiseRank "Telvanni"
With your next charachter, however, don't rush the decision to join a Great House. Take a close look at politics and conflicts. Every faction, particularly the Great Houses, holds a few secrets. The Hlaalu have Sleeping House ties, the once-honorable House Redoran is really losing influence and starting to whine about things, and most of the Telvanni councillors are complete jackasses, to name a few. Also, joining too many factions too quickly can really sour up the disposition of many people and complicate your freelance work.
Should i also join the Temple? i mean is it important for the game? because i hate them.
Well, the end of the Temple quest line is that you recieve the Lord's Mail (EDIT: Ebony Mail... Sorry, I get the two mixed up on a few occasions. The Lord's Mail is the end of the Legion quest line), but too much effort has to be put in. Not to mention that it's a pretty sucky faction anyway. I say no, especially since it looks as if you're slightly leaning towards the Imperial side of things. The Temple is full of people that will look down upon you up until the day you complete the entire quest line, which is full of worthless rituals. The one cool thing about the Temple, besides the Ebony Mail, are the abilities that you get from shrines. However, these abilities wear off after a day or so and get boring quickly. And once you go through the main quest, you really dig up some pretty bad dirt on the Temple with the aid of the Dissident Priests.
thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Ebony Mail is actually a pretty good artifact. It's also Medium Armor, the only artifact-cuirass I know that's medium. Check it out.
Armour Rating: 333
Condition: 3000 / 3000
Weight: 20.0 (Medium)
Value: 120,000
Constant Effect
Resist Fire 75% on Self
Shield 50 Points on Self
Resist Magicka 20% on Self
I'm trying to get it right now, even though my Medium Armor is low. That 50 point sheild sounds good...

I still say it's not worth it. The Temple is primitive and ritualistic. Besides the Ebony Mail, the only reason I could think someone would want to join the Temple would be to get their hands on a Fortify Skill spell.
