Where do you buy a fortify strength spell? I can't find one. I think I searched all Mage Guilds as well as Telvanni towns. Nothing.

Once you have ANY fortify attribute spell ( Fortify Agility,Fortify Intelligence,Fortify Personality,...), you will be able to ask a spell maker to make any fortity Attribute spell, and so the Fortify Strength spell.
I think ( but I'm not really sure ) that there is such spells sold by the man next to the bedroom in the Baldora's mage guild . If it is not there, try in Wolverinne Hall, either in the mage guild or in the imperial shrine
But again, spell cannot last long and have a quite a limited effect ( but you still can do easilly some spell that raise your strength by 300 or so...but just for a few seconds ))
I think that the best way is stll to make potions to raise Str...for instance :
Fortify Strength Potion
Value : 34702
Fortify strength 11405 pts fotr 34207 sec.
Nice ? ;)

i didnt realize you could do that kind of stuff in the game........the farthest i thought it out to was trapping a golden saint into a grand soul gem and then enchanting an item to add a permanent increase in strength.
That rises another interesting question, can you enchant an item yourself and somehow cause an permanent increase in strength by such an amount?

Farouk:
I'm sure of a place where you can find fortify attribute spell, and even a fortify dtrength one ( troll Strength, 10 pts for 60 sec...not much but if it allow you to launch the whole thing ;) )
->Go to Fort Moonmoth and then in the main building talk to Somutis Vunnis ( he's in a sort of church behind a wooden door )
BaresarkSlayne:
The problem is that it cost a lot of enchantment slot to do permanent enchant ( I've just tried to do a fortify strength amulet with a grant gem worth 80000 GP...and I was just able to reach a 20 increase in Strength :( ) No match with potion ( since I think that an effect that is cheap to produce and that last hours is almost a permanent effect ;p )
Everybody :
BTW, the more intelligent you are the best the potion is...usually. But try levitate : if you keep you're Int to something like 10000 or 30000 , you get a 600 magnitude levitate for almost half an hour, which is GREAT :p ( very fast and useful )... So, happy with result, you make another levitate potion while having 210000 Int. And of course you get a wonderful ( looking ) levitate potion : 3000+ Magnitude for 3+ hours...Great...?... No, because at this speed, you cross a zone ( and thus have to reload another one ) after just 2 or 3 move ABSOLUTELY awful ( try to reach a door LOL ) . You could think that it is useful to cross vast area whzere you don't care about the content : yes, but when you've arrived, what do you do , because I've still not found a way to stop this levitation ( except waiting for 3+ hours....;p ) And you can't even sleep to wait since you're not on the ground ( and it is hard to find and reach a bed at this speed ) .
So when you make your Levitate potions stock, do it first, before raising your Intelligence too much...and then go on, raise the Int. to the high score to have your fortify/restore/... marvels ;)

As far as cancelling a magic effect that's gone on longer than you like.... use a dispel potion/scroll/enchantment/spell ;)

Just did some testing trying to remove those effects with a 100% Dispel, it worked fine on the spells I had cast to see if it worked but it didn't touch the potions effects.
Gizmhail on 20/8/2002 at 10:13
Yeah, I had already tried it but the dispel spell doesn't seem to affect my @&%£$*µ!? potion ;)
Maybe there is a console command to stop it, but anyway it is so awful to move at this speed ( not only you don't see a thing, but you keep loading all the time...but it is a good way to calm down those crazy birds ;) )

Futz; thanks for the correction, WK.

I still like the old fashioned way, I fortified a Daedric cuirass with a plus twelve point strngth constant effect...I call it Popeye's Breastplate...I did the same with a gaunlet set (daedric) and called them 'Gloves of the WWF'(left and right),. Much simpler.

I've found another funny side effect of having to higth stat, and in fact it concerns Strength!
While travelling, I was a bit bored so I decided to try and use some we
