I'm sorry... I admit I do have some anger issues. It makes up for my almost 24/7 easy-going happiness attitude. Like right now :cheeky:
I IM'ed Exile to try and fix things up. How was I supposed to know he was playing a game? (Put an away message up next time bud ;)) I pretty much told him what you said Jordana, to calm down and stop turning everything again me.
If anyone has a problem with me just say it and I'll fix myself right away.

with Ryushi etc".......
Hopefully things will calm down a bit now.....
Nice editing BTW Striker ;)

Psst... I asked Striker to edit it, lol. Thanks.
No, I didn't misread it. You said 'I do think you overreact to Ryushi, in that your responses to his posts seem disproportionately aggressive.'

Thanks... with precision like that, I should have been a surgeon! ;)

"Exile, I think you overreact to Ryushi."
not
"Ryushi, I think you overreact too (i.e. as well)."
Perhaps the confusion was due to the fact that lots of people use the words "to" and "too" interchangeably. Wrongly, I might add :p
Striker, if you're considering a career in surgery, I hope you're going to sterilise your claw before you operate. And no leaving hairballs inside your patients!:cheeky:

While on matters of language, I noted several instances of the word 'dupe' in Exile's posts. Normally to dupe means 'to deceive, to fool', but it seems to mean something a little different in Exile's usage. Would you please explain?
Example:
Quote:
mannequins sound very useful though...Oh, just wait until they get duped... Over and over again...
I am just being curious here, btw. I'm always interesrted in the vagaries of the English language.

From the context, I guess a shortening of duplicated.

Ah, the penny drops. Thanks.

So... Striker, would I get banned or anything for starting a dirty limerick constest on this thread?
