i have a brand new problem:(
i m going onwith the telvanni quests. i m sent to kill raynesa rethan in her (his?) manor which is in Odai Pateau, on the right when you follow the river to south from Balmora.
there are two buildings, one is a tower like house that a man lives at the basement. the other is the rethan manor. there is a man and a woman at the entrance of rethan manor. they don't attack me...(i've killed them alrady...) but there is no raynesa rethan. i've looked up in the spoilers guide of destination:morrowind... and it says raynese is a rogue, and she will attack you when you go there, so it must have been such easy. but she is lost...maybe she was frightened of me and fleed away... i also thought she is invisible and she is going to attack me if i steal something...and i picked the ebony sword on the table in her bedroom (thinking if she doesnt even attack me for her ebony sword, she is really not there) but nothing happened... i think it is a "lost NPC" problem... if someone knows that the situation is normal but there is something i can't see or there is a problem in the game, can u please help me?:tsktsk:

there is no raynesa rethan.
...and there is no spoon. She's just disabled because you're still technically in House Hlaalu and that town was going to be your manor. And it wouldn't feel right to have another Hlaalu lord / lady inside your stronghold. Since you can't reference NPCs with complex names via the console (I made a post about this earlier), you can't just enable her or sethealth her. You have to dupe her.

oh really?:) was that manor going to be mine? can i just go and live in it now? because the tower stronghold that those stupid telvanni built for me is not.... strong enough...:erg: it is in the middle of ashlands and lavalakes (uvirith's grave)... i have to fly there for hours from sadrith mora... and then what? it is just like a mouse hole...although it's nice, it is small and there are tree trunks and branches everywhere, that u get stuck while walking, even worse, while you cannot walk, u have to fly through those curly trunks for a room... (and there is no teleport system from outside)...i've just seen it, and i think i'll prefer my room at aldruhn guild of mages... at least there are plenty of urns, crates and shelves... i hope the four woman living around my tower can take care of themselves...
but that stonghold of rethan looks better :)
anyway... thank u ... i hope it works... i mean when i dupe her, i hope aryon will recognize the work.... and accept it as done... there is only one more step to become the arch magister i think:) and hey u remember that i used to be in hlaalu and then joined to telvanni:cheeky:

Sure. Just be sure to keep upgrading your Telvanni stronghold, because as the stronghold at Uvirith's Grave is upgraded, so are the strongholdas at Odai Plateau and Bal Isra.

Download Uvirith Unleashed 1.2 and Green Uvirith 1.1. If you still can't bear the stronghold, I recommend using Bal Isra instead of Rethan Manor. Centurion did an excellent expansion on the stronghold that makes it a bit more West-Gashy in appearance and adds a travel service. If you want to ditch the stronghold altogether, download Vivec Abode 0.927.

Vivec Abode? Nah, 'A good place to stay' is what I use. It adds a very well equipped place in Balmora. It has no loot, just tons and tons or storage and an armory with a lot of mannequins. (sp?)

uprgading???
how do i upgrade? do u mean adding new rooms, or houses around? actually what i actually need in the tower is some more closets and shelves, maybe to remove some of the tree trunks that catches me like a dream catcher while flying, and a teleport system back to there.
and... where is the one at bal isra? it must be redoran stronghold right?
i already have centurions guarding the tower... one steam centurion at the bridge to the tower, several spheres rolling around the village, and one in the middle of the way to the dungeon, that i hardly could manage to pass through it once and see the dungeon, and faced the danger of not being able to pass back again, and become captured in my own
dungeon:(
aand...do the vivec, unleashed, green and centurion expansions work without tribunal? because i still don't have it...(shame on me:sweat: )
after your words i am confused about 'A good place to stay' ...so i won't ask about it... mannequins sound very useful though...

Hm... you can always upgrade by going into the TES Construction Set and putting in my storage or moving around the Sphere Centurions. That way you can make it exactly how you want.
I've never had the Redoran or Telvanni stronghold (my first game I did Hlaalu stronghold just because of it's location... I was on XBox) and I wouldn't know what the expansions for Ulvirith's Grave does. Exile would know about that...
I would seriously go out and look for some house mods though. Try out a few and see what you like. Most have more than enough storage to fit anyones needs and, while some of them might not look as cool as the strongholds, just having the space is what counts, right?

how do i upgrade?
IIRC, the person you went to so that construction on your stronghold will begin is in the Hermiage. Go talk with her about your stronghold and you should get an option to upgrade it to level 2, then level 3 (if your rank is high enough).
where is the one at bal isra?
There will be a quest to raid Bal Isra much like the quest to raid Rethan Manor. The stronghold is on the main road between Ald'Ruhn and Maar Gan, and should be marked on your paper map.

I know that Centurion's Expansion for Bal Isra works without Tribunal, but I'm not so sure about the Uvirith Mods. I think that Vivec Abode works without Tribunal.
mannequins sound very useful though...
