Also with the area affect arrow plug-in the fletcher has a very nice bow for you to, um, borrow off the wall.

i started with a nord archer but after a while always hunting for arrows started to piss me off, that and also the fact thet u will probly only get 2 or 3 shots off b4 u get some maniac with a big pig sticker trying to eat your face off..........So my advice is to stick with a sword.

aye. it is worth it.
but you better have some gold to train it cuz it ain't worth a damn if your marksman skill is low, very low.
my redguard always a crossbow or a longbow and a hundreds of ammo before going out;) . drops 'em dead before they even got a chance to stick him up. and when a daedra lord smiles cuz he thinks he got me cornered in some tight spot, well, that's because he ain't seen my charsymere yet:ebil: .
