I don't like the feeling of inferiority to the environment, it's good at first but it gets old, so reaching the Bar is a good point for anyone that likes lots of action without needing to press the quick load/save keys every few seconds.

Being a big fan of stealth type games like Thief, I prefer the moments in games where weapons wise, your quite significantly inferior to your opponents. Definately makes you put alot more time into thinking everything out, and also makes you stick to cover a hell of alot more.
When you feel invinceable your far less likely to do those things, and the fear factor of the game diminishes somewhat.

True, but if you are too inferior to the bad guys, the game gets more frustrating than fun. :erm:

In that case, it will give you a better sense of accomplishment when you succeed. A game that is too easy quickly becomes boring.
One of the reasons why I keep using the modified Groza throughout most of the game instead of swapping it for a scoped rifle is because I find it more satisfying killing enemies using the 'manual' aim. Having to compensate for the wind and gravity effects when aiming is one of the things I really like in this game.

This makes me wonder why I like the old classics like Quake, Unreal, etc. so much. :p
