If you guys have played Ponterbee Station or UNN Nightwalker you will find SHODAN does have a unit, you need AP bullets or EMP grenades to kill them effectively and they don't leave a body.

I've played Ponterbee, and all I can remember is some avatars similar to the ones in the final confrontation with SHODAN in SS2. That's why I made that commentary. I could be wrong though, because it's been a while since I last played Ponterbee.
