hello, i registered just to ask this (got into the game in a boring winter day)
at some point, i think after you send the transmission in Deck 5, delacroix emails you saying "soldier! Im trapped in cargo bay 1. come find me as soon as you can". I went all over cargo bays 1A and 1B but she isn't there. do you know if it is possible to find her? or is the email just an incomplete part of the game?
also another question.
When entering Deck 5 I ran into some people trapped in a room behind a unbreakable window. Then I got lost and forgot about them. is it possible to rescue them?
and the ending, I didn't understand it, was the pod infected with Shodan or the many? is the pod going to earth or to the von Braun?

You get that email on deck 6, not 5. And you're searching the wrong cargo bays, check out the ones on deck 6; they're where you destroyed the shuttles.
This question has been asked many times, you could have just searched this forum. :erm:
As for the second question, nope, you can't. By people you are referring to Cortez right?

As for the last question, it seems that SHODAN managed to infect Rebecca in some fashion. The pod is being retrieved by Goggles, the last person alive on board the Von Braun / Rickenbacker.

sorry if it was asked before, i suspected that, but couldn't find anything. thanks for the answers. great game.

Isnt there a log where Becca is injured; she finds some first-aid and some kind of military grade implant, I think SHODAN would have been able to infiltrate her with that.

Except that she stashed it in the data library, where it was subsequently stolen by the player.

It's not clear at all what a military grade implant is. Or whether someone with a regular cyberunit in his head could use it. Or how it relates to "R-grade implants" and "R-grade cyberunits".
These different technology types only occur in the plot but not in the game. The implants you find don't have specific military uses and obviously they aren't R-grade technology either, since they're scattered all over the ship when this tech was outlawed.
I think the "R-grade" is simply a plot device designed to emphasize the player's special abilities.
Siddons' log is the only to mention a military grade implant. Make of that what you will. I think there's plenty space for speculation here.
EDIT: She stashed the stuff she "didn't need" in the data library. Is there an implant there? I don't remember.

I was 95% certain already, and a quick check confirmed it.
There's a WormMind implant in the data library. The fact that it's a semi-annelid implant also explains why Rebecca was a bit uncertain about it in her log.

Since this seems to be a question thread now, I'll add mine...
I always though Becca got nailed by Shodan (not that way, perves) on the rec dec-she mentions she got bitten by a spider and 'I'm down to my last med hypo...' I guess Shodan managed to implant herself into Rebecca's mind when she died and the QBR unit rebuilt her. I think-anyone else got ideas?
One thing that's bugged me everytime thogh is deck 4. To quote a log: 'why would anyone want to hack the sim units?'
I guess they were doing the number crunching for the black eggs on the rickenbacker, but otherwise meh. Anyone else know?

It could also be possible that SHODAN infiltrated Becca through nanites. Becca was injured and the prime source of anything in System Shock 2 is nanites.
The nanites would be able to carry information and completely reconstruct her body.
