Hello!
Long story short my preamp got trashed. It's an old one that I think is beyond repair by now. I don't have the cash right now to buy new one either, so I'm stuck with using headphones.
I was wondering, if it's possible to connect speakers directly to the PC somehow maybe with an adapter of some kind?

The simple answer is "probably not".
It would help to know what you're trying to connect to (motherboard or soundcard), which make / model you have and which speakers you're connecting to but in most cases it's not really possible. Most standard speakers have an impedance too low for a motherboard or soundcard to deliver any meaningful power to them.
I don't know about Finland but you can pick up USB powered speakers very cheaply (not high quality, obviously).

Yes it is possible, but the volume will be really low and the sound will distort really easily. You might not even get
usable volume, depending on your speakers. I tried it as an emergency measure a few years ago when my PC speakers died. It worked, but it didn't work well.
You'd be better off getting new PC speakers. You can get a really cheap pair of USB speakers for about $10-$15 US. Until then, I'd stick with the headphones.

Speakers need amplification, bluee. Significant amplification. Line-level outputs only provide enough signal amplification to allow the interconnection of devices without signal degradation becoming a problem.
