Will the SDK or Source (can't recall atm which was released or both) allow to disable annoying parameters like considering Knockouts as kills or the forced nature of the Lebedev Jet?
Or even better some of the immunities on Navaria, Herman and Simmons. ;)
Thanks. :)

Good questions. I have never heard the answers to these, and I am now curious too.

KO: Sounds like a job for Shifter
Jet: Why would you want to break the story?

WTF is "forced" about the Lebedev jet? There are at least four different ways to resolve that particular encounter.

Well, it's probably more my lack of sleep and my laser like ability to linguistically devastate the English language. ;)

Lol, ZylonBane have a cow man. :p
For some reason, I stupidly thought everyone agreed it was wrong for Ion to change the KO ability of Lebedev without it being a kill. I don't see it as breaking as much as being able to participate in the story as it was originally, which allowed you to prevent his death, i.e. forced encounter on the Jet. :)
Jashin when you refer to Shifter, does his patch have a sort of menu of design choices? I have never tried his patch.
Thanks. :)

Mmm, let's see if I can name them:
Do nothing and have Anna Kill Lebedev, Kill Anna, Kill Lebedev, Kill both?
EDIT:

That's not the only part where KOs are considered kills, pretty much all of them are. Any kill quest can be completed via knock out. The only exception that I'm aware of is the "Kill Rock" quest, where the dialog actually reflects the fact that you knocked him out.
Acleacius on 23/12/2007 at 01:42
The_Raven I think the 4th ZylonBane is referring to is Pre-GotY you could get Lebedev to the front of the plane where Anna couldn't see him to go Hostile, preventing her Killing him. In the GotY when I tried this they changed it to forced kill by Anna, again.
Edit
Actually Liberty Island as I am sure you know has KO regcognition and I didn't mean to suggest it was only this spot, it's why I asked in the broader sense in my first question.
The_Raven on 23/12/2007 at 01:49
From what I remember, Liberty Island has a threshold on the amount of people you're allowed to knock out without being called a cold-blooded killer. At least that's what happened when I KOed every hostile in the demo years ago; maybe I should see if that still stands.
EDIT: Ok, you appear to be correct about Liberty Island. Still, I could have sworn...I suppose it is possible that something was either changed in the patch, or it was a bug unique to the demo version of that level.

That could be how they do it, I don't really kill so I haven't got a number on it, my big issue and the Forced nature of the Jet is, "We are forced to kill someone" either by Not doing our job, i.e. protecting a surrendered prisoner or killing him ourself, how is that Not Forced?
We all know as well about the shortages of Non Lethal Ammos, how can we really RP this when we keep getting boxed in?
Deus Ex is one of my all time favorite games but far from perfect, I just sensed it would be a better game if we could actually play a Non Lethal if we chose, without being forced to summon Darts, which should have been available in the game.

As far as I'm aware, the event that determines Paul's opinion of you is whether the front doors open or not.
