There's a new trailer out. most interested parties have probably seen it. I'm just curious if it improves the film in the estimation of your more casual viewer.

I like it. I mean, it doesn't make me think it'll change movies or even comic book movies. But now it at least looks like a polished summer sci-fi action flick, where it didn't quite before (and it pummels that new Hulk trailer silly, I think you'll agree. But that's still just the first-pass trailer for that one)
Apparently the less great CG at the end is from a virtual reality game Stark creates to help calibrate the suit control. Or it could just be crap. You decide!

I'm hoping each subsequent trailer for the Incredible Hulk shows ever-increasing improvement of the CGI, like Cloverfield's Statue of Liberty head going from embarrassing to better to better to decent enough.
I'm wondering why some shots of Iron Man walking around are CGI, unless the man in the suit was told to mimic the look.
But it does look like it'll be pretty fun. No telling if the characters' struggles will be played with subtlety and depth, or if they are going to play it cautious.

I don't know which shots you mean. The only one where he's walking is at the end and reputedly that one is supposed to look like CG.
Probably the only times in the movie shellhead will be an actual guy in a suit are when he's standing or walking or maybe posing (or lying limply on trashed cars etc). The rest is probably CG.
