It was a ridiculously good movie. I haven't been that excited during a movie in a long time.
Why has putting crap at the end of credits so popular? The credits are too long. But everybody including myself that stuck around were geeking out over Nick Fury.
The new TDK looks awesome!

From the sounds of it the reason that the special clip is right at the end is that they either shot it very late or they weren't sure they were going to include it. Apparently critic screenings not a week before the public release didn't have it. So they just tacked on a few feet at the last minute.

And it really wasn't worth it imho.

I loved this move, Tony Stark was done brilliantly by RDJ, slimy and cocksure but magnetic as all hell. His last line was panty creamingly brilliant.
Curse those end of movie snippets, fuckers need to respect the need to pee by the end of a freaking movie.

Saw it last night. My wife wanted to see Baby Mama but I talked her into this. She loves Downey Jr. so she agreed rather quickly. I loved it. I don't go to the movies much these days so it was a slow Monday night and I thought what the hell. I'm glad I did too.
I agree with most that's already been said. Gwenie was very hot (loving that red hair with those smattering of freckles). Downey Jr. really pulled off the lead (buffed up a bit for the role). The best Stan Lee cameo EVER. I laughed my ass off.
The only complaint I can come up with is the freaking trailers ruining A LOT of good quips and humor. There were a couple of jokes that had everyone not already heard them 20 times would have loved. Instead when said quip was delivered we'd all had seen it on TV a bajillion times and the theater just remained silent.

Yeah, it does suck that the trailers spoilt a few of the quips, although I am guessing many people, myself for sure, would not have seen it at all if not for the preview. Well I will just have to avoid the all previews when the sequel comes around and the quips should still be in since Downey Jr. apparently improvised quite a bit of them.

Saw this on Saturday. While it follows the tried and tested formula for these things (guy becomes hero - fights villain - wins) it does it with a deal of panache, and Downey Jr is every bit as inspired a piece of casting as I thought he would be.
Hopefully the sequel will try and do something a little different because I think the superhero movie schtick is becoming increasingly stale.

I agree on trailers having all the good bits, this was definitely the case for Forgetting Sarah Marshall and there weren't many good bits in the trailer - bear that in mind (FUCKING AVOID).
That said, in Iron Man I still laughed at -
Reporter: What do you say to those who call you the Da Vinci of our times?
Stark: Ridiculous. I don't paint.
Reporter: What about your other name, the merchant of death?
Stark: That's pretty good.
