^^^ I have no idea either. Someone (<strike>maybe d0om?</strike> DEFINITELY D0OM, TO WHOM I OWE MY FREEDOM) who the people in charge actually respond to like human beings managed to sort it out.

Rest assured, any and all pompous IRCop emails received will be posted in full (in truth they haven't got back to me yet, but I'm not exactly holding on for a swift resolution).

Whether this is because they unbanned me, or because switching dsl off and on again gave me a sufficiently different IP, or what ... I don't know.

Anyway, this thread can drift back to a watery grave for another five months now.
