I don't think it (the missing posts) has to be a conspiracy. It may be our friend is just being better safe than sorry, considering he's still in the city. They are cracking down on people in online photographs, so maybe they might crack down on people making public posts they don't like, or might sometime in the future -- since it's not inconceivable they can track down his real name from his nick -- so he just takes down the more explicit posts to ward off the search engines. And since then he may either be busy doing other stuff or the internet connections are getting so slowed down it's hard to get online.
I mean, I hope it's something more like that. After I saw pictures of them breaking into students' dorms and trashing their computers it makes me a bit worried.

I don't blame Immortal for his silence. On NPR they stated any net use deemed by the govenment of Iran to be for the purpose of incitement of violence would be punished by lengthy prison time or death. Lucky for us there was no mention of penis jokes.
Sigh. It does make one feel impotent though.
