Smooth move in a thread about oppression.
God I hate it when Koki's right.
Also Kolya are you sure it's safe to be linking directly to TPB? Despite the context in which you brought it up, I mean.
That said, God bless 'em.
Kolya on 18/6/2009 at 09:57
Is it safe? I don't know, I clicked on the link and nothing happened.
Oh and Queue: An agent provocateur without cause and wit is just annoying.

Nor are religious regimes, yet they still keep occurring like distasteful jokes. I'm greatly saddened by what is happening to the Iranian people at this moment--so please don't misconstrue my jocularity. But, I do remember back, though young I was, to that unfortunate day in 1979 when the referendum was approved for Iran to become an Islamic republic; unfortunate not in that it was Islamic, but that the country was being handed over to religion. And religious power, once granted, is maintained by absolute control no matter what God you believe in.
So, ImmortalThief, sorry if you took what I said the wrong way as I am truly pulling for you and the good people of Iran.

Thank you for this, theImmortalThief. It's really interesting to read an account 'from the inside'.
Where is this initial account? I don't see it in this thread.
Stitch on 18/6/2009 at 14:23
That's because all of his posts have been deleted.
You okay, theImmortalThief?
dj_ivocha on 18/6/2009 at 14:44
huh :weird:
I wondered why yesterday when I clicked on the thread, it showed two pages but when I actually started reading it a few minutes later and tried to load the second page, there wasn't any.

I really hope that this vanishing posts thing isn't connected to the problem or question, that let to Kolya's suggestion to use Tor. Somehow I develop paranoic ideas.

It's only his main post that has been deleted.
His (

One Tehran resident, who asked to be identified only by his first name, Behzad, said his home broadband connection has slowed so much in the past few days that it's almost unusable. Simply loading Google Inc.'s home page, he said, takes up to a minute.
"At the moment, to a large extent, it is stopping communication," Behzad said.

I hope he's ok. This smells.
